EZscape™ featuring Aeroot™ technology is a unique planting tray system for greenroofs and temporary/portable "landscapes" that can be safely installed directly on any roof or hardscape surface. EZscape was originally developed for Green Roof Innovations in 2004 and is now being re-introduced by Ponix MicroAg.

The proprietary design of the EZscape™ planter tray (U.S. patent pending) features:

The tongue-in-groove edge profile of EZscape securely interlocks arrays for use on uneven or sloped surfaces, eliminate gaps, and minimizes unsightly grid lines.

The Aeroot™ segmented cavity base is optimally configured to

  - air prune stray roots

  - provide a built-in protection and drain layer

  - allow controlled ventilation between the trays and the surface they are set on for
    healthy roots above a healthy roof

The Aeroot™ concept has proven effective since its inception in 2004.

With EZscape™, quickly install a removable greenroof or create portable landscapes for events, installations, and movie/performance sets.

The current EZscape™ module design is a durable polypropylene tray, nominally 18 inches square with a 3.25 inch planting depth. We are happy to work with you to engineer a custom configuration for alternative dimensions and depths that will work best for your specific application.

EZscape™ is currently available for wholesale and OEM at minimum quantities.
